AMI-2116: Red

In the current day, Red is a beaten down detective for the amicabot society, investigating crime within the city. With a bad habit of consuming copious amounts of crude oil--a substance his high-tech body fails to process properly--his performance is often sloppy and shameful, and has given rise to criticism from his peers. He's more or less dependable and could do a lot of good for his fellow amicabots if it weren't for his destructive tendencies and haunted past, and he could definitely benefit from a friend or two but is largely closed off, pouring himself into his work whenever he's not indulging his substance abuse.

Before The Great Restful One's eruption, he was named Meta and was the sole caretaker and companion to a wayward Predecessor, Red. The two were very close, and after Red's passing, Meta was never the same. He's largely tried to shed his old identity and move on with the reawakening of amicabot society, but Red's influence continues to linger with him and wreak havoc in the form of grief and regret.
