Happy March! The Spring seasonal reset is upon us, meaning you can once again Forage in the Meadow area! The Tundra is now inaccessible, but it'll be back once Winter returns...

In other news, you can now give Amicabots the Corrupted Linked Bodies trait (giving up to 2 bodies) with the Link Cables of Fate!

This item can be obtained any time through the Prototype Labs at a cost of 30  Kindness Tokens. You can purchase up to three per year!

Patron Critter (& pATREON pAUSE)

For the majority of March until the 28th, I'll be pausing my Patreon to take a little break and catch up on rewards from February. That means that active subscribers won't be billed until the next month's cycle! However, existing Patrons have still been granted this month's Patron Critter...

Striped Amphelidae! If you'd like one but can't subscribe to my Patreon during this paused billing cycle, you can obtain one by donating to my Ko-Fi! Any amount is okay, even as low as $1. Cygluvs are now available for Patrons as the monthly Patron Pet! You can obtain one for as low as $2 USD through the Patron Pet Pals tier!

I've also updated the art for Water, Oil Can, and the Apocalyptic Keepsake item. This is part of a slow but steady effort to update my older art, since a lot of the item assets look... aged in comparsion, haha!

I hope you're all staying warm. The Amicabots website is over a year old now, and to celebrate the new winter season and the Specimen line of wild critters, I've got an update themed all around them!

Greater Specimens, a new Companion species, are now available for the entire duration of winter! You can purchase MYO slots in the Pet Shop without limit, during the rest of the winter season! Rollover for spring is on March 1st, so be sure to grab all of the Greater Specimen MYOs you want before then! Additionally, you can find the MYOs when foraging in the Tundra during winter!

That's not all! When foraging in the Tundra, you also have the chance to encounter a Swaddled Specimen! These cuddly variants of the Arctic Specimen are a little bit more domesticated, but they're still wild animals. They seem to tolerate snuggly scarves very well!

This wild critter has the same chance of appearing as regular Arctic Specimens and Snow Gaskits.

Finally, the Grateful Specimen patron critter has released and given to all Patreon Supporters!

There's a chill in the air, and just before winter brings itself to Aerthir-32, there's enough time to have one last fair to celebrate the season! Everyone's chattering away about all the things they're going to be doing, but a sign catches your eye - apparently, they're looking for volunteers for the festival, and they're giving out a large roll of extra tickets to anyone who helps out!

Players can earn currency by grabbing a daily Ticket in the Dailies Tab free. To earn more, participate in Event Prompts!

Hey there! I've got a new flash prompt / mini event for you all, along with some new variants to the Pridroid pet!

Butch, Femme, Queer, Xenogender, Questioning, and Bear have joined the ranks of Pridroid variants! See all variations of the Pridroid here!

Pride History can be found in the Flash Prompts category, and will continue until November 2nd. Each time you complete the prompt, you'll earn a Pridroid and Glimmer Dust so you can obtain any Pridroid variants you want... or just have more shiny pets! There is no limit to the amount of times you can complete this prompt!

Today marks the opening of the Nautical Post, a shop where you can obtain Nauticava MYO slots in exchange for Pearls!
Pearls can be obtained by completing Limited Prompts and Fetch Quests.

Get a look at that egg! You'll be able to purchase six Nauticava MYO slots per year. Mutation Potions have no limit on purchase, and can be bought any time.

For the more robotic crowd, we have a new update...

Abandoned Dolls have started appearing in the Upgrade Shop! Eegh... Creepy. Who put those there? Suzie? Anyways, they have the ability to grant the seasonal Haunted trait!

These ominous predecessor dolls will be available until December when Winter seasonal traits will rotate in, so you'll have plenty of time to grab one (or more... if you dare?) before they cycle out.

Welcome to another big update, right after the last one!

Today, we bring you... fetch quests! Mira is looking for various items from the surface to complete her collection, and now you can trade with her over in Fetch Quests! She'll grant the Pearl currency, which will have future  use in obtaining Nauticava MYOs and trait items. While you can't spend the pearls now, you will be able to as soon as the shop for them opens up!

Gift boxes & Wrapping

You can now wrap items and pets as gifts! These gifts can be sent to other users or donated right to the donation shop. You'll have the option of choosing whether or not the gifts are a surprise, too!

You can grab Giftwrap in the General Store any time, for just 2 spare parts a piece!

Whoa, check out that warning sign! It's here to catch your attention, for... big updates have come to the site!

An outline of the updates:

• Content Warnings have been given an icon, and can now be added to characters on your profile. Please don't abuse this feature and add needless warnings just to hide characters' masterlist image; content warnings should only be used with their intended purpose! (such as horror themes or common phobias like clowns, spiders, etc.)
• Birthday Rewards will be given during birthday months. Currently, the only birthday reward is a Coolant Cupcake, but I'll make something better further down the line when I have more energy!
• Fetch Quests are going to be added soon! They are currently accessible via the Play tab, but there isn't anything there yet. Keep an eye out for a future announcement on that!
• The Navigation Bar has had a bit of a revamp, which I will detail below!
• Selected Character on profiles now show the character icon.

Navigation bar updates:

• A new Shops tab has been created for the main shops, user shops, and adoption center!
• Prompts have been moved into the Play tab!
• A link to the Guides page has been added to the World tab!

Bugs that have been fixed:

• Pet drops have now been fixed. The dirt drop for Shimmering Snifters has been patched out for now (sorry!) Look forward to future updates on pet drops some day now that they work properly!
• Two secret bugs that only admins and prompt moderators could see have been fixed. Hurray!
• Orion can finally stock his shop with new items.

A new category of prompts, Limited Prompts, has been released!

Like monthly prompts, these prompts will cycle in each month and give a special non-transferrable currency, Pearls! Pearls will be granted in addition to Spare Parts, so don't forget to calculate criteria to earn your usual art rewards for these prompts! Each month will bring two new Limited Prompts, when the old ones will cycle out.

Unlike monthly prompts, there will be two Limited Prompts each month! You'll also be able to complete each prompt two times! Each prompt grants 5 Pearls, meaning you can earn a total of 20 Pearls per month!

Pearls aren't spendable yet, but this update will give you a head start on being able to earn them for when the Nauticava shop opens up!
