simply put, i've reached a point in my life where i don't have the time or resources in my personal life to keep this project running. major life changes have made it nearly impossible for me to run an entire closed species ARPG, particularly when the economy isn't doing well and community engagement has dwindled. i hope you can understand that i make this choice within the best interest of the community and mods of the group.

WHAT'S NEXT?
the amicabots website will stay online until november 1st, 2026. so, seeing as it's already paid for, the ARPG elements will remain in tact on the website until then! MYO slots will be made free to use until their removal from the site. you can continue to submit prompts and use the gallery as long as the site is open for the next year and change! you can still use the server to chat, and you may still use spare parts to purchase non-MYO items on the site, as well as convert them to kindness tokens; more information on that will be added in below! since you won't need a MYO to make a character, the masterlist will become an archive that will last until the site runs out. a MYO submission grace period will be given; you have until September 10th, 2025 to submit your MYO designs & design updates for the sake of having them on the Masterlist! after that, the MYO and the design approval functions will close down. submitting MYOs at this time is purely for archival reasons and entirely optional for participating in the ARPG, as all associated species are now open!

all of your OCs within this species are still your own! you may freely trade characters in the server or through toyhou.se still! not only that, but the adoption center still has dozens of unhomed characters! if you want to buy one, you may now convert your spare parts into kindness tokens at THIS SHOP! new characters will no longer be accepted into the adoption center after September 10th, but you may continue purchasing them until the stock runs out.
